Fishing Guide in Bokeelia
Bokeelia is the quiet end of Pine Island, and if you want to get away from the crowds and fish productive water without much pressure, this is the place.
Fishing Bokeelia
Bokeelia sits on the north end of Pine Island, and it's considerably more remote than Matlacha or the other communities. The water here is part of Pine Island Sound, and it's mostly shallow backcountry with some deeper channels winding through. The fishing is similar to Matlacha but with less boat traffic and fewer anglers on the water. Redfish are the main target here, with good numbers in the grass flats and around the mangroves. Snook show up in the deeper channels and around the points, particularly in the cooler months. What makes Bokeelia different is the peace and quiet. We can fish areas that see very little pressure, and the fish tend to be a bit less spooky because of it. The winter months are excellent for redfish, while summer produces good trout in the grass. The area also offers access to some good fishing around the outer islands when we want to mix things up. This is a great area for a full day trip where we can take our time and explore without feeling rushed.

What Anglers Say
“I had a great time yesterday on the water with Capt. Stu. He took me on an all day trip and did not disappoint. Got me my first redfish and tarpon which we leadered to the boat and he shoot back off under the boat and broke us off. To top it off that got me my first inshore grand slam which was an awesome experience! I will definitely be booking again with Capt. Stu”
“Had an excellent time the guy seems real knowledgeable about the fish in the area and everything going on with the fishery. Would def go again!”
