Skinny water,
shots at the fish
of a lifetime.

RescueFly Charters is an inshore fly fishing and light tackle operation working the backcountry of Pine Island, Matlacha, and Charlotte Harbor — some of the most diverse flats fisheries left in Florida.

You'll fish with a captain who grew up chasing tarpon in the Florida Keys, from a stealthy 18-foot flats skiff built for sight-fishing — and on rods that wouldn't be out of place in any guide's quiver. New to fly? We'll get you ready. Seasoned angler? Let's go find a good one.

What We Chase

Three of Florida's

Captain Stuart
Anson Behrens

"I caught the tarpon bug when I was 12 in the Florida Keys, and I've been chasing that high ever since. My father, Cliff, got me hooked when I was just a kid — by way of Captain Ron Trobis. I swore I would end up a guide someday, and here we are."

"I just want to share with others the magnificent moments that shaped my life — by giving you the chance to create your own."

Why RescueFly?

The name
isn't just a name.

My main passion is putting clients on fish. But my calling is rescuing animals.

As a proud rescue dad of 4 rescues (3 cats and 1 dog) my drive is to help strays cats and dogs and help find homes for shelters pets here in Lee county. My goal is to stay involved and continue helping animals here in Lee county be it food and blankets dropped off at the local shelters or helping with transports to get shelter pets to their forever homes.

Dogs and cats hold a special place in my heart so feel free to talk about your pets and bring pictures :)
