What We Provide
I run a 2026 Beavertail Mosquito poling skiff — one of the quietest, most capable sight-fishing platforms built for shallow saltwater. It's rigged specifically for fly fishing: clean deck, no clutter, and a poling platform that lets me get above the water and spot fish before they spot us.
- This boat was built for exactly the kind of fishing we do out of Pine Island
- On the rod rack you'll find G
- Loomis, Sage, Hardy, and Orvis fly rods and reels from 7 to 12 weight
- That range covers every situation we're likely to face on Pine Island's saltwater
- Flies, leaders, tippet, and terminal tackle are all stocked and ready
- If you have your own gear, bring it
- If you don't, you'll be fishing with some of the best rods available
- Your Florida saltwater fishing license is included for the day — that's one less thing to sort out before we launch
- I also bring bottled water, ice, and snacks on every trip, with lunch added on full-day charters
- The goal is to keep you comfortable and focused on fishing from the moment we leave the dock
