What We Provide

I run a 2026 Beavertail Mosquito poling skiff — one of the quietest, most capable sight-fishing platforms built for shallow saltwater. It's rigged specifically for fly fishing: clean deck, no clutter, and a poling platform that lets me get above the water and spot fish before they spot us.

  • This boat was built for exactly the kind of fishing we do out of Pine Island
  • On the rod rack you'll find G
  • Loomis, Sage, Hardy, and Orvis fly rods and reels from 7 to 12 weight
  • That range covers every situation we're likely to face on Pine Island's saltwater
  • Flies, leaders, tippet, and terminal tackle are all stocked and ready
  • If you have your own gear, bring it
  • If you don't, you'll be fishing with some of the best rods available
  • Your Florida saltwater fishing license is included for the day — that's one less thing to sort out before we launch
  • I also bring bottled water, ice, and snacks on every trip, with lunch added on full-day charters
  • The goal is to keep you comfortable and focused on fishing from the moment we leave the dock

What We Provide FAQ

What kind of skiff do you run?
I run a 2026 Beavertail Mosquito poling skiff. It's an 18-foot shallow-water platform built specifically for sight-fishing — quiet, stable, and designed to get into the skinny saltwater where the fish are.
What fly rods are available on the boat?
I carry G. Loomis, Sage, Hardy, and Orvis fly rods and reels from 7 to 12 weight. The right rod for the day depends on the species and conditions — I'll have the right setup ready when we launch.
Is the fishing license really included?
Yes. A Florida saltwater fishing license is included for every angler on every trip. You don't need to purchase one in advance.
Do you provide flies and terminal tackle?
Yes — flies, leaders, tippet, and terminal tackle are all on the boat. I stock patterns that work for the species and conditions we're fishing out of Pine Island.
