Half-Day Charter
The half-day is built for anglers who want to get on the water without committing to a full day — and it still gives us enough time to find fish. We launch out of Pine Island, read the tide, and go straight to the most productive water I know for that particular morning or afternoon.
- The plan is always dictated by what the water is doing that day, and I'll put us on the best available bite for the conditions
- This trip is a great fit for first-time fly anglers who want to get comfortable on the bow without the pressure of a full eight-hour day
- It's also a solid option for experienced casters who are short on time but still want a real shot at a quality fish
- I keep the boat to two anglers max, so everyone gets time on the bow and nobody is waiting around
- Everything you need is on the boat
- Loomis, Sage, Hardy, and Orvis fly rods and reels from 7 to 12 weight, along with flies, leaders, tippet, and terminal tackle
- Your Florida saltwater fishing license is covered, and I'll have bottled water and ice ready to go
- Bring polarized sunglasses and a wide-brim hat — those are the two things that make the biggest difference on a sight-fishing day
